Dear Prospective Customer,

If you are in the market to buy a vehicle, I encourage you to read this letter. I would like to take this time to explain why you should buy from Parrish Ford as opposed to any other dealership.

At Parrish Ford, we appreciate and understand that everybody wants a deal.  With our long history and less expensive location, that's exactly what we're able to give you!  We've been in the same location for 78 years.  This means less overhead for our business which we can then pass along to you with lower prices.  That's why we are the only Ford Dealer in Central VA to charge NO PROCESSING FEE.  The only one!  So why not save the $600 to $700 and shop at Parrish Ford.

That which is never forgotten?  The Experience

Have you ever been disgusted with the car buying experience?  Unfortunately, most have.  I would love for you to let us change your opinion.  We are located in the rolling hills of Goochland County and not the high pressure circus atmosphere you'll find on the Motor Mile or West Broad Street.  Our different location in the country provides both our customers and our employees with a better quality experience at our dealership.  You may be interested to know that we have two types of employees.  The first type has worked at Parrish Ford for practically their entire career, enjoys helping customers and only knows the low pressure atmosphere you find in a country dealership.  The second type of employee has left the high pressure "rat race" of larger dealerships in the city to provide themselves and their customers with a better quality experience.  Our different location and business philosophy has won us countless awards in customer satisfaction.  For 17 years, we have won Ford's highest honor in Customer Satisfaction, The President's Award.  No other Ford dealer in Central VA can come close to making this claim.  To translate that into numbers, it means that 98% of our customers said they would "definitely recommend" us to their friends and family as a place to buy a vehicle and have it serviced.    

Please note that just because we are in the rolling hills of Goochland doesn't mean that we are an hour away.  We are only 20 minutes west of Short Pump and 30 minutes away from Midlothian (thanks to 288).

If you're worried about it, don't be?  The Selection

We're not the largest dealer in the state and that's ok.  Why you ask?  It's because we still have access to their inventory.  Don't misunderstand us.  We do keep an inventory of 100 to 150 of the most popular new and used vehicles at all times.  Just know that if you don't see the exact vehicle you want, you can still take advantage of our "No processing fee" and our more personal atmosphere.  All you have to do is let us know what you want and we can find it.  It doesn't matter whether it's in Virginia or Oklahoma.  If it exists, we can find it! 

Not to be forgotten?  Our History

Parrish Ford first opened its doors at 2900 River Road West, our current location, 78 years ago in 1939.  My grandfather, Raymond A. Parrish, worked as a sales consultant for the Powhatan Ford Dealer before going into business for himself.  His son and my father, Raymond N. Parrish, Sr., began working at the dealership in the 1950's and continued to do so 6 days a week until his passing in 2003.  It was their philosophy of treating customers like friends that shaped our organization into the customer-oriented business that it is today.  Now serving several generations of repeat customers, we like to think that if you buy a car from us today we'll still be around to service it when it's an antique.
